Quick Start: Pre-built Workflows to Supercharge Your Notes

We've prepared a set of ready-to-use workflows to help you get started quickly and make the most of GPT AI Flow. No configuration needed β€” just follow the steps below to enter an efficient note-taking and content creation process.

1. Set Up Your Note Structure (Required for First-time Use)

All workflows depend on a unified five-layer note structure. If your Obsidian vault doesn't have this structure yet, we provide a one-click migration tool to set it up for you.

Five-Layer Structure Overview

LayerPurposeCore Principle
1.x IndexNavigation & DiscoveryLinks only, no content
2.x TemplatesUnified FormattingAuto-applied when creating new notes
3.x NotesContent StorageNotes live in 3.1; other layers are classification views
4.x AttachmentsFile ManagementCentralized storage for non-md files
5.x RecordsDiary & Creation5.1 is the input entry, 5.2 is the finished output

How to Migrate?

Whether you're currently using PARA, Zettelkasten, a flat structure, or migrating from Notion / Bear / Logseq, simply tell the AI assistant:

"Help me migrate my vault" or "Set up my note structure"

The AI will automatically complete the following steps:

  1. Scan your existing vault structure and identify its organizational pattern
  2. Generate a mapping plan that maps your current folders to the five-layer structure β€” requires your confirmation
  3. Create a migration workspace _migration/ with the target structure inside
  4. Copy & classify β€” only copies, never moves; your original files remain untouched
  5. Link check β€” fix link paths after migration
  6. Output a migration report β€” activate only after you've confirmed everything looks good
Zero Risk

The entire migration takes place inside the _migration/ subfolder. No original files are modified or deleted. Simply delete _migration/ anytime to roll back.

2. Pre-built Workflows

Once your note structure is set up, you can start using the following workflows right away:

πŸ““ Diary to Note (diary-to-note)

Extract valuable ideas from your daily diary (5.1) and automatically generate independent atomic notes in 3.1. Never lose a fleeting insight again.

πŸ”— Note Enrichment (note-enricher)

Automatically supplement existing notes with metadata, tags, and bidirectional links, creating organic connections between your notes.

πŸ—οΈ Structure Builder (note-structure-builder)

Automatically organize classification indexes (1.x) based on note content, building multi-perspective navigation by topic, project, discipline, and more.

✍️ Content Composition (creation-composer)

Organize and arrange creative content from your note materials, outputting to 5.2 Creation Records. Perfect for content creators, bloggers, and writers.

Step 1: Set up your note structure (migrate vault)
↓
Step 2: Write a few diary entries (5.1 Diary/)
↓
Step 3: Use "Diary to Note" to extract atomic notes
↓
Step 4: Use "Note Enrichment" to add links and tags
↓
Step 5: Once you have enough material, use "Content Composition" to produce content

You don't need to learn everything at once. Start by writing diary entries and let the workflows naturally chain together β€” that's the easiest way to get started.
